I got both of these things in the mail today & they really made me feel proud. I didn't think I'd care when I got my actual diploma, but I was really excited. It took most of the sting out of the commencement ceremony.

Michael Jackson passed this week. No matter what you may think about him, he was an amazing artist. This is my favorite MJ song. The video was shot with his then wife Lisa Marie Presley. Many people thought that marriage was a sham, but Lisa Marie's heartfelt words after his passing make me believe she truly loved him.

My Chloe

Most of you know my doggie Oskar. I also have 2 kittens (they are full grown cats, but I will always call them kittens). Chloe wanted to make herself known today.



Chloe needs to be noticed, always.



She's settling in, but she's in my way.



Now she's just trying to fit in & not be noticed cause I'm about to kick her out of my way.



Everyone needs some kitten love in their day!

Wordful Wednesday!

Hi folks, sorry for the little break in the action there. Someone here in Mimiville (who's name begins with Mimi) needed to get her head screwed on straight! A couple health issues, a couple of lifes curveballs, you know the drill!

I wanted to show off how surrounded I am by flowers right now! My fantabulous husband picks them out of the garden almost every day so I can be surrounded by beauty. He knows it brightens my mood!

Here's some lillies from out front, we have tons of them. I know their common, but they're so pretty & cheerful. (Chloe had to check them out!)





Here's some roses. The first one is in my computer corner where I spend most of my day. It has some of my favorite things like Chococat, my tassle from graduation & a super cute necklace that my blog friend Jenn sent me.



These roses are almost done, but I like the crumpled look they get at the end.



And finally some yellow flowers JD got me from the store. He was running to pick up a few things & I off handedly said "get me a surprise" & he actually did! Sweet boy.



Having all of these flower around me reall does make me feel happier. I hate it when mid summer comes & I don't have very much to choose from!

I can't say thank you enough for all of your congrats & support. I was in a funk for a few days, but I'm pulling out of it now.

I'm not thrilled with the way I look in these pics, but I'm proud of them anyway!
