8 hours in a hospital waiting room is a L-O-N-G time! Then seeing my mom in pain was really hard. I'm used to being the one in the bed, but not seeing my loved ones in hurting.
I've got a great Oneida giveaway coming up that I hope to have posted tomorrow, & I'm going to try and visit all of my bloggy friends tonight!

I have to be in your shoes tomorrow - I have to sit in the waiting room on my dad tomorrow ... he's having some sorta back testing that he has to lay flat for hours. I'll take my knitting with me - for sure!

Sorry to hear about your mom. Ugh, when my mom talks about getting procedures done, it freaks me out! I can't imagine waiting 8 hours. That is a long time, but I'd do it too!
