Wonderful Treasure From Italy

I've been friends with Jeannie from Jeannie's Happy World for years.  After years of living in Georgia while her husband was stationed there and was in Iraq (Army), she finally got her dream of him being stationed in Italy.

She sent me an amazing Christmas package and let me open it early while I was talking to her on the phone.  The outside was all decorated and Oskar knew it smelled good!

This first baggie is full of candies and confections.  Notice how beautifully all of the baggies are decorated.  Jeannie is an amazing card maker & made everything look perfect.

These are Italian truffles.  My husband was begging me to share these each time I bit into one!

She went to the factory to get these samples of extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice and balsamic vinegar.

Jeannie stamped the designs on these tea lights & they're wrapped in ribbon.  Everything is just so perfect!

These are minestrone beans that I made up with some smoked sausage, it was so good!

Look at how beautiful these beans are!

Jeannie knows that I like pea soup so she sent me this one.  It was really fresh & light, perfect for a day I was having tummy trouble.  I had to use Google Traslator to figure out how to make it, lol.

Here's all of my delicious booty, all made in the region where she lives.  Right by Venice...I'm so jealous I can't see straight, but so happy that she finally got to go to Italy.

Stop by Jeannie's Happy World and give her some love.

She's former Air Force, her husband is in the Army, her oldest daughter just finished Air Force basic training, her son-in-law is in the Army & her son is getting ready to graduate high school and go into the service this year.  They are a family working hard to protect our country & I'm so proud that she's my friend.  Especially when she's sending so many yummy goodies my way ;-)

Evidence For Jeannie!

But super-duper friend Jeannie from Jeannie's Happy World, moved to Italy and is currently living a dream filled with shopping, gelato & her family.

Because she loves me she sent me a package for Christmas, but the trick is I can't open it until Christmas!  I may or may not be terrible at trying to get my presents early, so when I let her know that I got my package, she said she didn't have any proof that I hadn't opened it yet.  Here you go.

If you look at the date on the newspaper behind the still wrapped package, you will see that I have not opened it...yet!

A Great Opportunity To Be A Queen

My awesome friend Jeannie from Jeannie's Happy World is starting a great book reading group for women.  Here's what she has to say about it:

A ROYAL INVITATION!

I'm soooo excited to be embarking on an amazing, new journey. Are you a woman "of a certain age", who has lived the first half of her life and is looking forward to the best half of her life??? It's time to discover the seven best gifts a woman can give herself:

• Claim your beauty and feel your power, clean your mental closet and find your queen voice, admire yourself for who you've become, build deep, fulfilling friendships with other women, establish firm boundaries that will strengthen all your relationships, learn the simple trick to finally being happy, and place the crown firmly on your head!

Are you ready to be a Queen?? Email me (j_kupsh@yahoo.com) for more information!

The book is Queen of Your Own Life: The Grown-Up Woman's Guide to Claiming Happiness and Getting the Life You Deserve & was co-written by Kathy Kinney who played Mimi on the Drew Carey show.

This group is going to be a great place for self-improvement, friendship & fun.  Jeannie has all kinds of fun surprises for the whole group, so hop on over to Jeannie's blog and shoot her an e-mail.  Oh & tell her Mimi sent ya!

Super-Terrific Goodies!

This post is delayed, but I'm still trying to get caught up! My super-wonderful friend Jeannie from Jeannie's Happy World sent me this super yummy box of goodies in January. She is an amazing card maker & sent me a box of scrips & scraps to use for my ATC's & projects.

Jeannie's an amazing Army wife, mom & cook. Come to think of it I can't think of anything that she's not good at. That would probably be annoying if I didn't love her so much!

Look at all of this goodness!

Of course it all came with one of her beautiful handmade cards.

Pop over to Jeannie's blog and say hi & tell her Mimi sent ya!
