Friends, you know my blog is all about honesty, which can be an emotional rollercoaster since I live with bi-polar disorder.
My medications were changed last week and it was a disaster, yesterday I changed back to Cymbalta and hope to go back to being my normal, only semi-crazy self.
Today for the first time in a week I found myself engaging with people and spontaneously smiling & it felt great. I was able to recognize the moment and hold on to it. Then I heard the song '100 Years' by Five For Fighting and it really made me stop. The lyrics at one point say "I'm 45 for a moment, the sea is high and I'm heading into a crisis, chasing the years of my life." Bazinga, that one spoke to me!
Really just a moment I have to enjoy life before that time is gone. So today I'm going to ignore the snow and hold onto the moment of my smile. Maybe I'll even have another one on the way.
*I will post the winners of my Stride Panties giveaway a little later in the day.

So glad you are feeling better Pam. And you are so right about holding onto the moment. Our lives are so short, there is no time to waste! Thank you for being so honest, it is truly a blessing to me. I would love to spend time with you, I just know you would make me smile. Actually, you already do!! :)
They just diagnosed me with a "mood disorder" a couple of weeks ago. They have me currently taking Celexa and Lamictal. I had the most excruciating headaches of my entire LIFE on Monday and Tuesday. Tuesday night I actually sent my friend a text msg asking her to kill me because it hurt so bad. I'm glad that you are feeling better! I love that song btw! I sing it at random times :-)
welcome to our blogger group, Pam! I'm happy you were able to find your smile, even for just a moment, today. That's always a good start!

I'm so glad you're feeling better! I just came through one of those times.. They suck! So glad you're better :):
I smiled because you smiled!
Hugs!!
I'm so glad to hear you are feeling better. My roller coaster has been so up and down lately and more down as the days are going by.
I did the tango with crazy a few years ago, and part of it was due to being misdiagnosed as bipolar and having a terrible reaction to the medications they gave me. I'm glad you're back on one that actually helps. Don't let go of that smile! :D
Never change a winning team, or winning medication in your case. Glad your feeling better. You have such a wonderful sense of humour (Oskar's blog is proof), I thought you'd be smiling all day long ;-)
Welcome to our blogging group Mimi! I hope that the support that you might find through the group brings more smiles to your days. We are becoming a very supportive group indeed.

Bazinga? Are you a Big Bang Theory fan too?
Sorry I haven't been around for ages. My blog Reader has 1000+ blogs to catch up on. and tomorrow I have to put in some serious desk time plus get my three teenagers back to school. I don't anticipate being caught up on blogs for a while.
Glad your meds are working better again.
