Frozen
Sometimes when I'm in the middle of a depressive episode, I feel frozen. Overwhelmed by everything, frozen & unable to accomplish anything.
It's the feeling of being lost in a crowd & lonely even with those you love. Hopefully it will pass by tomorrow.

I've Got Rockin' Friends!!!
Hey guys it's me, Mimi! Back safe & sound from the wilds of North Carolina.
After what my lovely friends did, I'm sure that I wasn't terribly missed, but I'm glad to be back! I hope you found out what great blogs my guest bloggers have & stop in to see them often.
Here's a shot of my fam & me at Whaleback waterfall. I had 3 layers of shirts on, so I look even wider than I actually am, but I think all of myboys men look great.

I can't wait to get caught up on all of my blog reading. I'll post more pics of my trip once I get caught up with life!

An Affair of The Couch
Hello Mimi Fans!
I am thrilled to be guest posting for a blogger that cracks.me.up.
Mimi has been part of SITS for quite sometime, so we have always been friendly.
But, in a moment of decor bliss, we fell in deep bloggy love.
See, I love decor. I love seeing what people do to make their homes and extension of themselves. If you put up a picture of your adorable child, you can bet I'm sneaking a peek in the background.
Apparently, Mimi does too.
A few weeks ago, I posted this picture in regards to Spring:
Mimi left me this comment: "The plants are cute, but I am considering leaving my husband and marrying you for those couches!!!!"
And, with that I knew Mimi was so my people.
So, I thought I'd share a bit more of my Spring decor!
A great way to get ready for Spring is to paint. I decided our master bedroom was in needed of some new bling. I am a HUGE fan of vinyl lettering and designs, as here in SoCal, we can't put anything over our beds that could fall. I saw this chandelier and fell head over heels. The paint color is "contemplation" and it's the perfect shade of blue/grey with a tiny hint of green.
My bedroom is now incredible relaxing and apparently very wrinkled, but whatev.
Now, on to the family room.

Have you seen Wal Mart's new Better Homes & Garden line? I fell in love with these plaid drapes. And, I am a big fan of the letter R- I have picked those up from various places: Home Goods, Anthropology, etc.
The classic iron piece? Hobby Lobby. Sigh. How I miss Hobby Lobby.
And, to really be fabulous this Spring. You must have one of these:
A big thank you to Mimi for having me!

Magic, Thy Name is Capucine
Hi Mimi's peeps! This is Joy from Joy to the Blog.

![]()
Vacationing Pam put me in charge of Tuesday's post, can you believe it?! I was beyond flattered.
So what to post on this lovely blog? What would bring a smile? How could I charm and delight Mimi's readers without actually being Mimi?
"Once Upon A Time," by a little French girl named Capucine, is my answer to this question.
Because of Capucine's internet popularity, her amazing mom sells t-shirts of Capucine's artwork where the proceeds go to a charity she set up to help fund school books for African girls. You'll find a link on her Vimeo site when you click the video.
