Project 365 - Week 44

Hello P365 friends.  Sorry I've been out of the game for so long.  My bi-polar has gotten worse over the last several weeks and now I'm in a partial day hospital program to learn how to deal with things better.  It's hard, but I'm learning things that will hopefully be helpful for a long time.

This is the image that I came up with to use as my "mantra" of sorts.  I printed them out & put them where I will see them when I'm struggling.

I haven't been taking many pictures, but I put together a sort of catch up post with some from the past weeks.

Monday, 10/10

Oskar displays what the rest of us feel by refusing to leave the bed!

Wednesday, 10/11

Chloe longs to be an outside cat and is obviously jealous of Oskar.  I know he secretly loves her jealousy, lol.

Saturday, 10/12

I caught this bee on a flower & figure this is the last shot like this I'll get this year.

Thursday, 10/13

Oskar showing me his distaste for being woken up with the camera.

Saturday, 10/15

Homecoming for Jack & Alexis.  Isn't she tiny!

Thursday, 10/20

Chloe enjoying her nip toy.  She cracks me up.

Friday, 10/21

Oskar is happy that we got out his "personal space" heater.  How can you resist a schnauzer face.

Monday, 10/24

I took a pic of John David's door for a little contest that some of the pet blogs that I'm involved with are having.  He did this duct-tape treatment to his door about 3 years ago.

Friday, 10/28
Everyone is worn out from their week.  Naps for everyone!

Will be praying that things start looking up for you.
Your animals are so goofy :)
Yet another thing you can do with duct tape!
Hope you have a great week!

That is one fat cat! I love the identical backsides in the indoor/outdoor picture. John's door is really cool!

I'm so sorry you're struggling. I remember being in therapy way back in the day (early 90s) - I wrote a poem about how my life might look in a perfect world. I used the zinnia as my symbol. You can read it here: http://danabugseyeview.blogspot.com/2009/09/september-1990.html.

Sorry you've been having a hard time :( But yes, remember you ARE ok!!!

I just love Oskar! I think that space heater is going to be his best friend in the next few months!

HOLY COW - Alexis is teeny-tiny, isnt she? I'd make 5 of her!

Oh Mimi, I'm sure this is such a difficult time for you, but I'm so glad you're getting help! The pic of John's door cracks me up! I have to say, I feel like napping a lot these days, too! I'm sure it's the weather.

Praying,

Mimi

John must be the most patient teenage guy I (don't actually) know (hope I'm not insulting a 20 year old now). And creative!
Oskar has so much expression in his face. Cute!

See, I don't know, but I think you're coping with your struggling mind and body really well. I can only judge by your posts, which either make me smile, laugh or think. You have so much consideration for others too. I'm thinking of you and am pretty sure you will come out of this difficult period again. It is good that you have help. You're definitely O.K.!

OOXXOO

I'm hoping your program really makes a difference for you and helps. I'm sorry you've been struggling so much. :(

Still makes me laugh that Oskar has his own heater. :)

Your cat, Chloe, and my cat, Munchkin, need to get together and sprawl :).

I'm sorry to hear you're having a hard stretch. Will be thinking about you and praying for you.

Tell Oskar I wholeheartedly empathize with his Monday. Ugh. And I could use that nap on Friday, too. :)

Sorry you've been going through such a rough time, my friend. I'm really glad that you've found a program that's helping, though.

John David's door has total "dude" attitude. What is it about guys and duct tape, anyway? From the moment they can sit up by themselves they're obsessed with the stuff! :~) Cute shots of Oskar and Chloe too!

Alexis is a real cutie-pie, but you weren't kidding about her being super tiny! Is that her little purse that Jack's holding on to? I guess chivalry IS still alive and well in this younger generation!

Anywhooo, Hang in there, m'dear. I'm sending out some positive vibes and please know that you'll be in my thoughts and prayers.

(Sorry about the super long comment... I took a break myself for a while so I guess I'm trying to catch up with everyone. LOL)

XOXO,
Mrs B

Hey there, I haven't been able to visit for a while and am glad I stopped by to see what you were up to...love the photos, thx for sharing. I would like to suggest that you think about changing your mantra to read, "challenge" instead of "hard"..it will make a big difference in the outcome of your intention...trust me, it works!
Loads of happy coming at you, june

I was so glad to see you on P365 today. I have missed you my friend. I loved your photos as always and yes, Alexis is miniscule. The cat watching the dog through the door window was my favorite. My prayers are with you and I will be checking on you. XOXO K
