My Jack

My baby, Jack, is almost 15. He's taller than me now, which is something that he reminds me whenever possible.

Here's Jack in an old flannel shirt from my "grunge" days.

What you can't see from that picture is that he's also wearing his dad's kilt.

He's on the top of this dogpile. The boy with the backwards baseball cap is his step-brother, Travis.

And my personal favorite, Jack in his new top-hat!

He's getting ready to go on his class trip to Washington DC. I have to have him at the school at 4:30 am on the Monday after Mothers Day!

Next is driver's training. Where's my xanax...

You have to send him to DC and then immediately into driver's ed? Oh wow, hand ME the xanax!

At least you've been broken in with your oldest. I'm still getting nerve-wracked every time I get in the car when Austin's at the wheel. He's finished part 2 of driver's ed and now all he has to do is take the test.

Love his style though - I bet you would've never dreamed your flannel shirt would've enjoyed a second life!

Oh how I understand! My oldest will be fourteen in four months and is already 5 foot nine and a quarter! I feel as though I'm shrinking.

Wow, DC will be awesome. He is adorable. He appears to have a very good personality. It's never easy being a mom, there is no time that is easier then the next!

I totally understand the need for Xanax! I still find it hard to believe that all my "babies" are grown!!! Hope Jack has a great time in Washington, DC! I'll check back later to see how the driver's training goes! :)
