Goodbye Is Not Forever

My grandma passed peacefully early this morning, with my grandpa and all 9 of her children surrounding her.  At 44 I know that I'm so lucky to have had her with me for so long and lucky that she got to know my children for so many years.

I'll probably be on a little blogging break, but your prayers for my family are very appreciated.

Just loosing my Papaw in May, I know how hard this is.... but what an amazing way to leave this world surrounded by so much family! That's a representation of a beautiful life she must have led.

Sympathies to your whole family in your loss.

Wow! A family of 9 children - obviously she was a wonderful woman. What an accomplishment to raise a large family. So glad everyone was there with her; no doubt she felt the love.

I'm sorry she is "away".
Praying for your family.

How fortunate you are to have known her for so long and how fortunate she was to have such a large loving family. May you and your family find comfort in the many memories you have. You are in my prayers.

Hi Pam,

We can celebrate a long life when so many pass early due to illness and accidents. I never knew any of my grandparents (last one passed when I was about 6) and I always felt cheated.

May your family appreciate her life with you, and know she is watching over you from above.
