A Thank You To My Sons

Photobucket
On Mother's Day I always reflect on my sons. Remembering when they were small, and missing those days. Laughing at the memories surrounding their births. Marveling at the young men they have become.

If it wasn't for them I feel like I would be nothing today. While I made them, they made me. No matter how down I am, I can look at them & know that I am a success. I am a great mom, who has raised 2 fantastic boys. No anxiety or bipolar disorder will ever take that away from me.

For all of you hoping to be mothers, I pray that your dreams come true one way or another.

And for John David & Jack Andrew, a million thanks just for being you. I coudn't be prouder or love you more.

Reading posts that have to do with motherhood make me want to be one ...

I have to refrain though. Two key things are missing. Finishing college and my prince charming.

But it's lovely to read about =]

It's an awesome tribute. One note though:

Even without your sons, you'd be something. Yes, you wouldn't be the same person as you are today, but you'd still be wonderful!

What handsome boys! I agree completely - your children really do "make" you. I have friends who have decided not to have kids and while I wholeheartly support their decision and even agree that it's best for them, I just can't imagine having my own. They have absolutely made me a better person.

What a sweet post! [By the way, my children will never be that big...right?]

We had a wild Mother's Day this year so it didn't really happen, but I usually try to make the day special for Hubby and the kids...after all, the kids are the whole point of being a mom and without Hubby I wouldn't be Mommy to begin with!
