I heard this on the radio this morning & was immediately transported to my glory days, the magical 80's. We didn't know we looked ridiculous, we just had fun!

BTW I was reading the post below here ..the dry-heat out West is awesome (I am in Calif.... not so good)come visit our deserts you'll love them (I am very anti-humidity) Try Utah first it is truly lovely and very dry!

i LOVE this song! and the movie it was in - Valley Girl! i prob watched that movie a zillion time! nicholas cage's first movie?? not sure. i'll have to look into that...

Ya, great song--although several years back, I think Burger King ran an ad campaign using this song to tout a cheeseburger or something, so now whenever I hear it, I think of burgers.

Stupid ad execs.
