I Quit!

I've gotta say I'm pretty sick of "the system" right now. Court did not go very well for me.

I just wanna say that sometimes it's tiring to know that you are the person "doing the right thing" when the person, or Ass Hat, "doing the wrong thing" continually gets rewarded for their bad behavior. Having the moral high ground doesn't feel like much when for all intents & purposes the person with seemingly no morals still comes out "ahead".

I know all of the blather about me being the one who is teaching the kids right & wrong. Ass Hat will end up "paying the price" in the long run, etc., but right now I want someone at Oakland County Friend of the Court to see thru all the BS & call the man on his awful parenting skills & judgement.

For goodness sakes, the man punched our 16 yr. old in the face, in my church, during a youth event, started giving the same kid alcohol when he was 14, took him to see this outrageous movie & the court rewards him with more time with our 13 year old!!!

I give up.

I guess I should say I give it up to God.

**For anyone who doesn't know what the heck I'm blathering about see this post.

Couldn't connect to your other post but the situation sounds bad. I'm really sorry for all of your troubles. Must be terribly frustrating. Prayer sounds like the way to go about now.

Mimi,

I think we live pretty close to each other, wow. I pray that things will get better. I want you to read the words to a very encouraging Chorus we used to sing at one of my old churches. Maybe it will help.

You are Lord & worthy of Praise

Even though my mortal eyes cannot see beyond today

You are Lord of all that I am

& I vow that I will trust you when I do not understand

For you are faithful each day

& you will walk every step of the way

In you my hope is restored

YOU ARE LORD!

He has a divine plan & it may not be what we think, but that is why we are not God. I will continue to pray for your Ex & the whole situation.
Also, I have something for you at my blog.

Feel better.

Oh Mimi, that's terrible! I pray God's protection for the children. May He watch over them and keep them from harm. And may He grant peace to your heart.

Hang in there, my friend!

I am sorry, I will be praying for you- look up Psalm 91 if you think about it we call 911 when we are need of help. Why not call 911 in the bible? Psalm 91:1 and the rest all has great amounts of strength and I definately suggest it. I am praying for your family. My cousin is struggling with a similar problem. I am also sorry I didn't recognize "Mimi" as a follower. I will get up with this stuff more as I go- so sorry for my e-mail. But I really do appreciate your comment! My prayers and hope, :)

I'm sorry you're being needlessly stressed again hun. You know he is what he is and isn't likely to change. Your boys are pretty smart, and know what's what.

This should explain alot about my situation: http://happy-jeannie.blogspot.com/2008/12/joyful-spiritor-not.html
