Disparate and Multifarious

I refuse to be politically correct about pigs! Pig farmers are upset about the new virus being called the swine flu. Now we're supposed to call it the H1N1 virus instead of swine flu. Yeah, that'll happen.

Have your eyebrow hairs started to get creepily long? Mine have. If I don't keep them under control, I'll be Andy Rooney's younger sister.

See these?

It means my house & yard will smell like lilacs soon! *swoon*

They run the length of my fence line!

Are coconuts a fruit?

I've woken up at 2:40 every day this week except for one. I can't get back to sleep after. When it's 7:45 & you've already been up for 5 hours it makes for a really looooong and goofy day!

at least you HAVE eyebrows! :P

the only way i'll INSIST that you call it H1N1 is if i die of it. i *refuse* to die of something called "swine". how freaking un-glamorous is that??!!

Not only are pig farmers upset but I heard on Lou Dobbs radio show yesterday that the Muslim community is offended too. They want it called Mexican flu. Guess who's not happy about that?

Good heavens. Can't we all just obsess about whether we will catch this flu or not and not argue over what to call it? Ridiculous.

Hubbies eyebrows grow crazy sometimes, I dont' know about coconuts. let me know.
There is always something crazy in the news. Weird.
The school district by us closed because a student is being tested for the flu. THat is crazy.

I laughed at your eyebrow comment. Keep them under control, will ya?

Shouldn't the pigs be upset that we're basically saying they're killers? Who cares that they probably originally got the flu from us in the first place...

Oh, lilacs! Back when I was a working girl (in an office), I used to buy lilacs from the nearby farmers market. It's almost not fair to other flowers that lilacs are so pretty and smell so amazing.

Sorry to hear about the early mornings...no fun!

while i am a vegetarian and shouldn't feel sorry for pig farmers, i do agree with those moving to not call this the swine flu since it is actually a mutation combining swine, avian, and human flu.
and, my eyebrows are outrageous right now. well, maybe only to me, but can't we come up with a solution to keep them in check for longer.
and, i'm totally jealous of you're lovely lilacs.
coconuts are seeds, and i think they are icky.
ooh, i hate insomnia. i feel your pain. last week, i suffered from it, and nothing seemed to make it go away. i was exhausted after 5 days.
and, thanks for following my blog
