I do hope that the press that litereally hounded his mother to death have learned their lessons, and that these two beautiful young people can have a long and happy marriage.
Proving that motherhood and a case of the crazies can have a positive outcome and that Diet Pepsi and Xanax do not cancel each other out

me too! I remember all those things. But a relationship in the spot light (and theirs is BIG) is not going to be easy.
I know!!! When I heard about it this morning, I got all giddy. The Hubs was like "Why do you care" - I said, "I remember when he was born & have watched his WHOLE LIFE! I feel like he's my son!" haha!!!
I just hope that the Queen will stop her meddling and interfering and leave these two beautiful young people alone! She already wrecked enough of her children's marriages...let's hope that she does NOT start on the grandchildren's marriages!
I remember all those things too :)
Good luck to them both!!
I say it's about time. Sheesh, those two have been together forever! But it does seem like it was just a year ago that his mum died and he was tiny.
I know isn't it so crazy? I just watched a special on Prince William the other day and it looks as though the press hasn't learned it's lesson. They are hounding her sny chance they get regardless of the law that was instated that they couldn't do that. I hope they can adjust and succeed! I watched his parents getting married, too!

Well said Pam! It seems that time literally flies these days. My oldest son turned 45 October of this year and it seems like yesterday I was bringing him home from the hospital. I too had a hard time accepting Princess Diana's death. I am still pained when I think about it. She was such a lovely person and so caring.
I totally agree with you.. I can't wait to see this couple grow and have a wonderful life together. I know his Mom is so proud of him..
I'm sure you WERE just a baby when Di and Charles were married--because I was too! LOL Love that he's marrying a 'commoner' and I agree totally with your comments about the press!
In that shot right there, he actually looks like his hairline is receding. When did he get old enough for that to happen?
I am happy for them. I think this generation is much better grounded and Prince William seems a much more 'stand up guy' than his father ever was. They've been dating for a long, long time and have had a chance to really think about things beforehand. I wish them the best of luck!!
I kind of teared up when I saw that she was wearing Diana's ring. That is so special and I know she'd be so proud of her son!
It does seem impossible that he is engaged. I can remember when he was a baby!!! Yikes!
And to see Diana's ring on Katies' finger brought a tear to my eye as well.
I doubt the press will leave them alone...ever! They are so relentless!
Hugs
